The fit: A high-rise style that fits comfortably close through the waist and hips with a relaxed-yet-slim fit through the butt and thigh, and a tapered leg that crops at the ankle.
The details: Besides perfecting the “mom jean” for a flattering fit from front to back (no mom butt here!), our design team brought this vintage-inspired style up to speed with a good dose of shredding through the leg and intricate touches of distressing throughout for an authentic, worn-and-ravaged look.
The inspiration: Who said pretty girls can’t be funny? Something of an overlooked icon, Goldie Hawn’s signature blonde humor and easy all-American spirit originally won over the masses from the ‘60s through the ‘80s. For this fit, we specifically looked to her tousled, Cali-girl vibes in her Rolling Stone cover shoot in 1981.
